Teresa DeSeve

Teresa DeSeve, a Wisconsin native, began drawing at an early age. She attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and holds a BFA degree from Rosemont College.

She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and the Philadelphia Water Color Society. A teacher for many years, she has devoted the last seven to teaching pastel in two community art centers, the Greater Norristown Art League and the Wayne Art Center.

Three times selected for the Pastel Journal’s Pastel 100 Competition, she was the 2011 winner of the coveted Richeson/Unison Award.

In 2006, she was awarded the Andrew Giuffuni Award from the Pastel Society of America.

Most recently, in 2020, she received the Philadelphia Pastel Society 1st Annual Juried Members Exhibition Award of Excellence.

She is represented in many private collections worldwide.
